I loaded the new release. I got this error

Hi,

Thank you for evaluating the BI platform.

I did some investigation into your problem. I was able to reproduce this stack trace by installing the pentaho-demo directory into a path with spaces (ie "My Documents Folder").

If your path to the pentaho-demo directory contains spaces then I recommend that you drag the pentaho-demo directory into your systems root or put it in a directory structure with no spaces and try again.

Please let me know if this works for you as I will redo the documentation to explain this problem and work towards a permanent fix.
