font size mismatch (win32/linux)

hi. :)
i'm developing an application on win32 (windows 2000), the reports run perfect on other winz (win98, winme) but on linux the fonts on the report are LARGER even with fontsize="n" on every element.
i'm using the "default" font, except for one element with fontname="monospaced" (size increases too).

any ideas??

Hi,

an idea ... are you using the same fonts? Every JDK uses its own set of fonts for the predefined fonts. This could be a solution ... have a look at the fonts at $java_home/jre/lib/fonts and the file $java_home/jre/lib/font.properties.

Localisation can also alter/modify the fonts. JFreeReport does not tweak with fonts (except if iText does) and at least the Graphics2D-OutputTarget does limit itself to standart awt when dealing with fonts. There should be NO difference ...
