hi,
jfreefreereport is a great project that helps people who need to generate report easily. yet i have a question and hope someone caould answer it. does jfreereport support vertical layout (writing characters from right to left and upper to bottom)? for i saw that itext0.93 has supported cjk and vertical writing ( ... # added class VerticalText for enhanced support for vertical text. ... ) (http://www.lowagie.com/iText/history.html#VERSION093 ). i think it does but i do not know what function or how to use it (perhpas in xml).
i appreciate any suggestions.

Hi,

JFreeReport uses a mix of Graphics2D functions and iText pdf functionality. Vertical text is not yet supported, but your posting added another point for the next days of creating a layout concept. Next version will have support for this feature.
