parent child dimension question

i want to construct a parent child hierarchy in salesman dimension. in jpivot, inside result table, the following error is shown:
#ERR: mondrian.olap.fun.MondrianEvaluationException: infinite loop: context is ([Measures].[sales], [salesman].[All members].[1].[3])
I am doing something wrong?, thanks.

I suspect that your data has a cycle in it. For example, salesman #3 works for salesman #1 and salesman #1 works for salesman #3.
