The case for open source ETL, Published: 23rd December 2005, By: Philip Howard
http://www.it-director.com/article.php?articleid=13073"e=gen
Philip Howard discusses 4 different open source ETL tools.
Kettle is the only product with graphical user interface ("a graphical drag-and-drop style product") and "looks much more like an PowerCenter or DataStage". ;-)
As a conclusion he states: "In other words, each of the products has something different going for it, though none of them will trouble the likes of Informatica, IBM or Ab Initio."
What do you think about this?
