Step Thread Name Question

Since basestep extends thread, would it be possible to call the thread constructor passing in the step name? That would make debugging much simpler as well as doing a thread dump while the app is running, it would be much easier to figure out what is going on.


Is this the correct place to ask for features like this? Should I file a Change Request for this as well?

Hi Bo,

You can ask any question here, but a Forum is not a good or easy way to keep track of the things that need to be done. This certainly deserves to be done.
I actually had this feature in version 1.0 at a given time, but after a re-write I must have forgotten to enable it again.
