I have been tasked with deploying Pentaho, but we don't have any central database or data warehouse.
I'm pretty certain I'll need to create some kind of database and have a system by which can gather and load the data in an automated fashion. e.g. At midnight parse a bunch of data out of some log files and insert into the database.
Any recommendations, especially ones that work well with Pentaho?
