Cannot view zip files

I am new to Weka and having startup problems.

I see how to output the results of a model (applied model or scored model is terminology sometimes used ). The results are written to a zip file. I get a file that has something in it, but I cannot view it with winzip or another zip program.

Any suggestions??

By "output the results of a model" do you mean that you save the actual model, like a trained classifier (on the commandline that would be via option "-d")? If that's the case then the output is NOT a zip file (even if you specify .zip as extension), but a Java binary serialized object (the classifier).
