Hi Devs,
We're in the last stretch to 2.5.0 with an RC1 being out.
Everything is looking good, but can I ask you guys to focus on testing, bug
fixing and translations?
Please do not add any new features without a good reason from here on.
Remember: even minor changes to core classes can cause havoc.
Of the last 49 listed bugs of today...
- 8 have status Resolved or Probably fixed. (waiting for confirmation)
- 6 have status OSX bugs that I can't confirm nor deny, being Apple deprived
and all
- 4 have status Unconfirmed / Unable to reproduce
The rest of the 31 open bugs are usually a mix of an enhancement request and
a bug.
I fixed all the urgent stuff that I wanted to fix (and then some) and I
think that 2.5.0 will be an awesome release.
The only thing I might tackle is the creation of a Trap/Idiot detector for
bug #4365... IF I find the time. (probably not)
From here on I'm starting on the documentation updates.
I'll try to get the change log out tomorrow so that the translators can
update the docs more easily.
Thanks for all the help in the coming weeks.
All the best
Matt
