join datasets in Pentaho Reports

Ability to create 2 datasets in Pentaho Report Designer and to join them on some fields to create a third one, and use this one into the report.
Of course we can do that thought Kettle, but doing that into the Report Designer would be more interesting for reporters.

Nope. Thats exactly what Kettle is for. With Version 0.8.10, we ship with a ready-to-run Kettle-DataSource. But I will not - never, even if bribed with a million bucks (we can talk once someone tries to bribe me with 10 millions ;) ) - copy Kettle functionality into the reporting engine.

Well, simple operations so close to joins that you could think they are twins are already doable just using subreports.
