Pentaho Metadat - Mondrian

Hello,

I study pentaho solution and I've a misunderstanding.

For me, Mondrian is a server who generates cubes in order to have an easily access to data for users (via Jpivot).

Pentaho Metadata makes easier access to data for users, then they can build their own reports.

What'is the difference between this two solutions?
I know that Metadata manage users rights, Mondrian too?

Different subjects. You define your metadata structure in Pentaho Metadata. You can even generate a mondrian cube from within metadata.

Mondrian ia an OLAP server where you can interact through jpivot.
