Accessing Pentaho from another machine

Hi,

I´ve installed pentaho demo on a machine with IP: 192.168.11.149.
From another PC in the network I can access 192.168.11.149:80 but I can´t access 192.168.11.149:8080.

I edited pentaho-demo/jboss/server/default/deploy/pentaho.war/WEB-INF/web.xml
like I found in http://wiki.pentaho.com/display/PentahoDoc/Deployment+Configuration and started Pentaho again, but even the Server can´t access pentaho over it´s 11.149 address.
It just works with localhost:8080.
Where was my mistake?

Your first mistake is posting in entirely the wrong part of the forums, your second mistake is by default jboss is setup for local access only you have to add 0.0.0.0 to one of the startup files, but I can't recall off hand which one as its all changed recently, I'm sure you'll be able to find a relevant forum post though.

Oh .. great.

I found the solution:

I appended -b 0.0.0.0 behind run.sh in start-pentaho.sh

Now it works fine, thank you.
