Difference between Pentaho BI Suite Installer and PCI Installation??

Hello guys, I really don't cathc the difference between these downloadable versions thata are on the Pentaho web page. It's onlye that the first one is an auto-installer?

Another question is, when I launch the Suite Installer it gives me the option to select the Manual/Custom installation instead of easy, but then it says to me that the option is not available, why? is because something i have already installed? or is because isn't fully implemented on the installer?

Your first post didn't not get posted, I deleted and I've done so again, don't duplicate posts.

On the webpage there is 2.0 RC1 which is release candidate and doesn't have an installer, or 1.7 which comes as a download and unzip package or an installable version, no difference to the finished product just different ways of getting the program running

Actually the difference i noticed is that the .tar file only includes the pre-configured server and the BI plataform. It doesn't include all the rest of the programs of the suite, as the BI Suite Installer do.

So if you just want to install individually the BI Plataform and samples without installing al the other tools of Pentaho (Design Studio, Reports Designer, etc..) choose the PCI Suite.

If you want all the programs and the BI Plataform or a installer that let you select which one do you like to install, choose the Suite Installer.
