running as server.

Hi,

I want to make my pc run as pentaho server(allow other computers to acess my PCI..).
I followed the steps given in the below link...

-->changed the web xml as follows:
<param-value>http://pcnumber:8080/pentaho</param-value>

-->changed the start-pentaho.sh file as follows:
sh run.sh -b pcnumber

Now, when i enter the following url: http://pcnumber:8080/pentaho,
it gives me an error.I have restarted both the server & my pc..
But the url http://localhost:8080/pentaho is working even after making the above mentioned changes in the web xml and .sh file?

what may be the reason for this?Is this process for making my pc as server a right one? pls guide...

hi all...

My problem is solved..my pc is working fine as a server now..
Had to change server.xml file too as specified in the referance thread to make it work...
