I am publishing a report from Report Designer onto the BI Server (3.8) which has several charts. These work fine in preview from the report designer but when I publish them to my BI Server the charts (and css style) are not displaying at all.

I have looked at the source code of the html rendering of the report and the chart image url appears incorrect:

<tr style="height: 1pt"> <td class="style-5">&nbsp;</td> <td rowspan="2" colspan="2" valign="top" class="style-6"><img src="/pentaho/http://192.168.10.25:8080/pentaho//getImage?image=picture5275164276342957314.png (http://forums.pentaho.com/view-source:http://mmnzvm1:8080/pentaho/http://192.168.10.25:8080/pentaho//getImage?image=picture5275164276342957314.png)" border="0" class="style-7" /></td> <td rowspan="2" colspan="2" valign="top" class="style-6"><img src="/pentaho/http://192.168.10.25:8080/pentaho//getImage?image=picture8287063846868348915.png (http://forums.pentaho.com/view-source:http://mmnzvm1:8080/pentaho/http://192.168.10.25:8080/pentaho//getImage?image=picture8287063846868348915.png)" border="0" class="style-7" /></td> <td style="font-size: 1pt">&nbsp;</td>
</tr>

When I manually strip out the /pentaho/ from the front of the img source the chart displays in my browser.

Can someone tell me where the BI Server is configured such that it puts the /pentaho/ into its path?

By default we ship the pentaho.war with no special root context mapping, which means it will be referenced under the /pentaho/ directory. If you do map the WAR to root, you'll need to change a context-param in web.xml. I don't have a 3.8 server installed, but I believe it's "base-url"
