Question How to override database connection in command-line?

My first Kettle integration runs successfully in Spoon and in Kitchen.bat on my development machine!

Now I need to install this on a couple of different test and production servers running Linux. They all have different databases.

What's the best/easiest maintainable way to override the database connection info (including user and password) in each server deployment?

    Thanks

That seems to be a FAQ for obvious reasons:

How to make a DB connection different for different Kettle installations (e.g. sandbox/staging/production)?
