Default Pentaho 7.0 Integration Issue with Cloudera Quickstart 5.8

I am trying to integrate Pentaho 7.0 (running on Windows 7) with Cloudera Quickstart VM (running on VM Workstation). But I am getting the User Home Directory and Root Directory Access issue. I followed the step by step process mentioned in the link "https://help.pentaho.com/Documentation/7.0/0H0/Set_Up_Pentaho_to_Connect_to_a_Cloudera_Cluster"
    1)
hdfs-site.xml - Added YARN user to Superuser Group in "hdfs-site.xml"
    2) oozie-site.xml - Added the PDI users such as cmanohar, Cmanohar, admin etc..
    3) mapred-site.xml - mapreduce.app-submission.cross-platform set to true
    4) config.properties - authentication.superuser.provider=NO_AUTH and pentaho.oozie.proxy.user=oozie
    5) Given root user access to user and user/cmanohar directories and executable permission
    6) Followed other steps as mentioned in the link.

I followed similar steps for Hortonworks and it works fine. But it gives me issues with Root Directory Access. Attaching the screen shot of the issue and directory access given. Can you please advise on this.Pentaho&.0 Integration Issue with CDH5.8.pdf

    Chandra,

Were you ever able to resolve this? I have been trying same with CDH5 quickstart VM and have been stuck at the same result for the past few days.

Also, are you saying the HortonWorks VM worked following the steps? I can certainly pull one down and test.

    Best Regards,

    MF
