Add Sequence - can you start multiple copies?

All - this is a nutty question but here it goes -

If I am using the Add Sequence step in a transform (not clustered), and I want to start multiple copies, will the sequence generated be unique for all records or just for a particular step?

It depends: if the counter name is different you get 2 different sequences.
