    @ Julian: Yeah, would be great to meet and work on olap4j/PAT :-)

    Don't know if i can arrive earlier than friday evening. I'm coming back from holidays in california just the weekend before and probably need some work to do

    Thats a list of hotels on this website that are very near the venue ordered by price, I'll have a bit of a delve around later to see what else I can find, as its right next to the subway, I guess you could easily stay anywhere on that line and get to the venue without any problems.

    Payday on Thusday, I'll be booking my flights and hotel then.

    I booked "Hotel Barcelona Universal" (Fri-Mon). It was 401.25 EUR for 3 nights breakfast included. Please note that this is less expensive than the prices listed by booking.com without breakfast (411.95 excl. or 476.15 incl. bf)

    I'm not as posh as matt, and thats out of my price range, but i did find the Tryp Apolo on booking.com, 304eur for Thursday through till Monday, not bad I guess and very close to where the meet is.
