If not, I'll be there to cover for Doug
Just to make sure the "beer" subject is covered.
I'll be there from Friday Evening, going back Monday morning.

Dan

Thats a list of hotels on this website that are very near the venue ordered by price, I'll have a bit of a delve around later to see what else I can find, as its right next to the subway, I guess you could easily stay anywhere on that line and get to the venue without any problems.
Payday on Thusday, I'll be booking my flights and hotel then.
Tom

If its of any use, I'm flying out on Thursday to make it a bit of a working holiday, but I still need to do it on the cheapish so I'll probably be staying here: http://www.booking.com/hotels/hotel/...out=2009-09-21

ive been away too! Shame about the torrential rains! Doh!
Will check that out shortly, tar.
I booked "Hotel Barcelona Universal" (Fri-Mon). It was 401.25 EUR for 3 nights breakfast included. Please note that this is less expensive than the prices listed by booking.com without breakfast (411.95 excl. or 476.15 incl. bf)
