Anyone interested in giving a presentation in Barcelona this year, can you please sign up here(keep this thread on topic, I'll be editing junk out ), just leave your name and presentation topic(s) and depending on the uptake we'll collate a list/vote for the presentations that we'll see on the 19th Sept.

Excellent Idea! I'd be honoured to present. I've got materials prepared for a "practical kettle examples" presentation:

+ Importing *really hairy* text data from the internet movie database.
+ Importing heavily structured XML data into multiple database tables
+ Exporting data from multiple database tables into a heavily structured XML document

Some ideas I could prepare, in case someone is interested:

+ Visualizing kettle transformations in HTML documents (through XSLT)

+ Developing a custom CDF component (I have an example plugin to add sound to dashboards, and I could develop one to add timed events). But perhaps the recent work on CDF already supercedes this?
