Default Passing Parameter through URL in Report designer 3.5

    Hi,

I have designed the reports using Pentaho Report Designer 3.5 , I have three reports connected using hyperlink option, I am passing one parameter (say parameter A) from report #1 to report #2, now I want to pass the same parameter (parameter A, which is coming through url) from report #2 to report #3 using hyper link. Please let me know how to achieve this in Pentaho report designer 3.5.

    Thanks in advance...

how about: do the same to report 2 and report 3 that you did to pass parameters from report 1 to report 2.
Why not listen to the Tales from the reporting crypt.

Can you please guide me how to pass parameter in the url for hyperlinking between reports in report designer 3.5.

I did it in version 1.7 through appending &PARAM_NAME=1 at the end of url.

    please reply asap.

    thanx in advance.

This has not changed yet. However, if you use PRPT mode, then the URL has changed slightly.

    Default Taqua is right but...

...it doesn't work! I have reviewed the wiki page Taqua recommended and - I believe - have understood the rules. BI Server 3.5 adds some kind of repeating itself at the end of the ran URL. You have to remove the part after the first "&name=", beggining at the hash and only then add your parameter. It sounds reasonable, but it is not working...

Tacqua, can I keep using PRD 2.0 to create the linked reports? Am I under any risc of being left alone (I mean, are my linked solutions under risk of stop working anytime soon?)

    Best regards,

    Fábio
