Due to decisions outside my control , we are still running a Progress 9.1e database for one of our business systems
I have happily used PDI 3.2 JDBC connection on a WinXP box using:
+ Copied progress.jar and jdbc.jar from Progress path to ..\libext\JDBC path
+ Copied JdbcProgress.dll and procli92.dll from Progress path to ..\libswt\win32
+ Generic Database connection:
+++ Custom Connection URL: "jdbc:jdbcprogress:T:my_ip_addressort_nbr:db_name"
+++ Custom Driver Class Name: "com.progress.sql.jdbc.JdbcProgressDriver"
I am able to run 3.2 right now, connecting to Progress database just fine.
I attempted to set up the exact same connection in PDI 4.0 (I have double-checked my files and settings 4 or 5 times), and I get
"No suitable driver found for jdbc:jdbcprogress:T....."
Does 4.0 find the dll files in a different way/path than 3.2?
