BI Suite 4.1 stable posted to SourceForge

Stable Builds of BI Server, PRD and suite clients 4.1 have been published on SourceForge.net and are available for download.

Please try them out, report bugs and give feedback.

Note: The version numbers for the individual applications that make up the BI Suite 4.1 have not been synchronized to 4.1 for this release. Sorry for any confusion. I have been assured by our build guy that this was unavoidable and not a belligerent act meant to frustrate people.

Stable builds represent the final stage of development for a Community Edition (CE) release. The term stable refers to a version of software that has been through enough community testing to reasonably assume there are no showstopper problems, or at least that any problems are known and documented. If you are going to put a CE release into production, you will want to use a stable build.

CE builds are not supported by Pentaho. If you require support or enterprise features, Pentaho Enterprise Edition (EE) may be the right chioce for you. EE evaluation software may be downloaded from http://www.pentaho.com/download. Pentaho Enterprise Editions extend Pentaho's open source business intelligence (BI) capabilities with additional software and support designed to save your organization time and resources.

Hi thanks for the new release. Could I please know if I still have to install eclipse separately and then download the pentaho plugins from http://www.pentaho.com/download/? I could not find the plugins so the assumption is that the Does the BI Suite 4.1 stable release also works for ubuntu and I will not have to install eclipse. Also please confirm the download link is the same: http://tenet.dl.sourceforge.net/proj...ntaho/Business Intelligence Server/3.10.0-stable/biserver-ce-3.10.0-stable.zip
