Best Practices to migrate PDI job from Dev to Prod

Hi,

I have a few jobs (that have sub jobs and transformations) that needs to be migrated from Dev env to Production env.
Can anyone point me to a Best Practices doc/guide/link that talks about this.

I did migrate a job but didn't realize that I needed to migrate the individual transformations within the job separately. Following are the steps I followed:
1> Logged into Dev Repo and exported the main job and individual job entries (sub jobs and transformations) to a xml file.
2> Logged out from Dev Repo and Logged into Prod repo and imported the jobs
3> Manually created a Folder and saved the jobs in repository.

Is there a better way to do this.

Lifecycle managemet is coming in PDI 4.3 (EE?).
In the meantime, you can use M2P and/or KFF.
