ALL values option in Group Header

In Report Designer (or any other Pentaho reporting tool), is there a simple way to include an ALL option (ALL years for instance) when creating a pull-down list box in a group header?

in these cases I use a query with a UNION of two SELECT (the first one for the ALL option and the second one for the other options)
