I am trying to install the 30 day trial and during the installation I get an error pop up with the following messages:

Error running /opt/pentaho/mysql/scripts/myscript.sh /opt/pentaho/mysql **** : ERROR 2002 (HY000): Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/opt/pentaho/mysql/tmp/mysql.sock' (2)
ERROR 2002 (HY000): Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/opt/pentaho/mysql/tmp/mysql.sock' (2)
ERROR 2002 (HY000): Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/opt/pentaho/mysql/tmp/mysql.sock' (2)

I look at the directory /opt/pentaho/mysql/tmp and do not see a file called mysql.sock. Not sure if this is supposed to exist or not.

I am trying to install this on a RHEL 5 64-bit system and I do not have an existing instance if MySQL running.

Any help would be greatly approached.
