Scheduling Report in user console

I have created an interactive list in pentaho user console. Now I want to create a schedule. My requirement is that, I need the report in pdf format and each day the report should be generated and saved in my specified location, eg: SalesReport_June5.pdf on june 5th and so on. How it is possible?

Use the below syntax in your .xaction file to save PDF format in your specified location

<ReportOutputForAllRegion type="content">
<destinations>
<file>/home/tpt013/Desktop/Statement_Of_Account_Bursting/All_Region/StatementOfAccountReport_{ALLREGION}.{output-type}</file>
</destinations>
</ReportOutputForAllRegion>
<ReportOutputForParticularRegion type="content">
<destinations>
<file>/home/tpt013/Desktop/Statement_Of_Account_Bursting/Particular_Region/StatementOfAccountReport_{Region}.{output-type}</file>

Thanks for ur reply..I want to know one more thing..we can edit the .xaction file as mentioned above..how to add a schedule to save .pdf report for a .prpt report? (ie created with report designer)

Either .prpt or .xaction file. You have to use the same syntax as I mentioned in the previous message.

thanks..but how I will mention the <file></file> for .prpt file? is there any .xaction related to prpt report? or can we edit this inside .prpt file itself?
