Hi

I am a Java developer interested in Pentaho. I have installed the demo application in :
C:\\pentaho-demo.

I'd like to know if it's possible not to use the default pentaho repository : C:\\pentaho-demo\\pentaho-solutions

I have searched in many configuration files and didn't see anywhere this parameter is defined.

Best regards

This is explained in the installation guide. You can set this in the web.xml of the pentaho web app.

e.g. in pentaho-demo/jboss/server/default/deploy/pentaho.war/WEB-INF/web.xml

In that file there is a context parameter called solution-path that you can set.

Yes i saw it. But there wasn't any value. I guess it would work if i changed it. But, I mean, how does it know the default repository while there is no values.

If the setting is not defined in the web.xml it looks for it in the pentaho-demo directory (and also other sister directories on the demo server path)
