The component org.pentaho.component.SQLLookupRule crashed when I used it into a action for querying the “foodmart??? database
(The foodmart database is bundled with Mondrian 2.0.1 and created with the mondrian.test.loader.MondrianFoodMartLoader into a MySQL server 5.0 on windows xp)
I use the pentaho-demo bundle version 1.0.0.0 built 156 that is in sourceforge (windows XP professional).
The query that made it crash was: “select * from store limit 1, 21???.
When I changed the null values of the last row to a number, it would stop crashing. So I presume that the component is not handling correctly null values.

Or I'm doing something that I'm not supposed to?

Hi. Thanks for reporting this.

This was a bug that was found in the 1.0.0.0 demo. It was fixed and checked into CVS on Dec 23rd.

It only affects trying to view the results of a query online and does not affect using the result of the query for generating reports etc.

It will be fixed in the next demo that is release.

James

Where can I download a newer version of the demo?
