Hello forum,

I have tested Pentaho demo solutions, and it worked well. And now I want to build my own solution, deploying my war file, instead of using pentaho.war.

But the problem, I can not find any configuration file of JBOSS (or Pentaho) to point to my own solution, not to pentaho-solutions folder.

So far, what I did was :

1. Using Oracle database 9i, it can communicate well with Pentaho solution (using SQLDatasource.xaction).

2. Creating my.war, so I can test with http://localhost:8080/my

3. I create my-solutions and configure it with PentahoWorkbench, but when I start JBOSS server, it keeps point to pentaho-solutions. So, it's a problem of configuration, yet, I can not find the file needed to configure.

Can somebody please help me? Thank you

See the "Creating Pentaho Solutions" document on page 10:

"[...] The default location is: /[preconfigured-install]/pentaho-solutions.

AFAIK you have to change the adapt the following parameter to your current environment :

solution-path
xyz/abc

within the /jboss/server/default/deploy/pentaho.war/WEB-INF/web.xml file. I haven't tried it so i cannot promise you that this will work, but maybe it's a helpful hint. Just post how you solved the problem.
