I was wondering if anyone out there and either played with clover etl or has hear some stuff about it?

I'm currently evaluating a few technologies, Kettle, Clover etl, and octopus to do our ETL function. I have heard both kettle and octopus on these boards and I wondered if anyone might know a bit about clover. I see that Kettle as been acquired? DOes that mean that it would be th best to start working with?

I would be interested in starting dialog with someone to perhaps help me and my company pick the best solution.

Thanks ever so much for anything any one might be able to comment on.

Hi Nic,

We have some experience with Octopus but not much with Clover. We already have integration between Kettle and Pentaho and the levle integration will increase over time.

I suggest you start with Kettle to see if it meets your needs.

Clover is actually a very advanced ETL tool. It has a nice GUI eclipse plugin that makes ETL development easy. I have used this product for alomst a year and compared to all the others out there, I found this the best. The tool is very flexible and pretty fast.
