Hi

I am installing Pentaho under Tomcat 5.0, following the Advanced Install Guide. The non-Tomcat specific section mentions one might have to install pentaho-styles.war in order to get some css related stuff. This is what I want to do, since the css stuff is missing in my fresh Pentaho.

However, I cannot find the mentioned file pentaho-styles.war. What I can find is pentaho-style.war (note the absence of the plural s), which is a directory (not a war archive) located under pentaho-res/styles/ in the j2ee distribution.

Is this what I need? I tried zipping this directory, giving it a .war file extension and deploying it via the Tomcat web gui, in the same way I previously have successfully deployed pentaho.war. However, Tomcat claims the archive is broken.

Can someone help me with this? Shall I provide more information?

Thanks in advance, Tobias

Hi,

Perhaps the easiest way of getting the PentahoStyles.war is to download the Preconfigured Install (PCI) (also called the Pentaho Demo) upzip it and look in the /pentaho-demo/jboss/server/default/deploy directory for the Pentaho.war
