Thanks for the manifest file!
Now, when I try to run the jarred workbench application by typing "java -jar workbench.jar", I keep receiving a NullPointerException in the main method from the ImageIcon class as seen below. Any ideas on how I can fix this? Thanks a lot.
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NullPointerException
at javax.swing.ImageIcon.<init>(ImageIcon.java:138)
at mondrian.gui.Workbench.initComponents(Workbench.java:85)
at mondrian.gui.Workbench.<init>(Workbench.java:35)
at mondrian.gui.Workbench.main(Workbench.java:394)

Hi,

Has this been fixed? I'm still getting it with mondrian-2.3.2.8944 release.

/cygdrive/c/prosrm/mondrian-2.3.2.8944
$ java -jar workbench.jar
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NullPointerException
at javax.swing.ImageIcon.<init>(ImageIcon.java:138)
at mondrian.gui.Workbench.initComponents(Workbench.java:244)
at mondrian.gui.Workbench.<init>(Workbench.java:93)
at mondrian.gui.Workbench.main(Workbench.java:1395)

Thanks,
-Peter

There was a big upgrade to the Schema Workbench after the 2.3.2 release. Prior to that, the Workbench was not working. If you are interested, you can get the Mondrian source from Perforce and try that.

My coworker and I both checked out the code from perforce. We're having problems starting up the workbench, because it can't find any of the *.gif files.

toolbarOpenButton.setIcon(new javax.swing.ImageIcon(getClass().getResource("/toolbarButtonGraphics/general/Open16.gif")));
toolbarSaveButton.setIcon(new javax.swing.ImageIcon(getClass().getResource("/toolbarButtonGraphics/general/Save16.gif")));
toolbarSaveAsButton.setIcon(new javax.swing.ImageIcon(getClass().getResource("/toolbarButtonGraphics/general/SaveAs16.gif")));

Thanks,
-Peter

Please verify that you have the jlfgr-1_0.jar, which includes these .gif files, in your classpath.

I still have this problem with schema workbench 3.1 .
And i'd like to use this version.

Nobody knows how to solve it?
