I have installed mondrian and issued some used it to
view my own data set results on browser, its working fine, but when i saw the SELECT
statements in my oracle database , i saw something
very strange like this
SELECT YEAR, QUARTER
FROM sales, time
where sales.time_id = time.time_id
and time.year=2003
and sales.time_id = time.time_id
and time.quarter = 'Qtr1'
Note that the "sales.time_id = time.time_id" is repeated two times. because of this , the materialized view is not being used and results are
very slow,
Shouldnt it have the join part of where clause
only once.???
is this a bug??
Thanks

Yes, I've seen this. Please log a bug.
If a redundant join condition prevents Oracle from using a materialized view, that's pretty lame. Please log a bug against Oracle too. :)
