Hi,

I have created a Kettle repository on my internet server.
The idea is to put useful transformations in here that other people could use, but also examples, etc.
Please send over anything you want to share with the Kettle community.

Below are the connection details: copy the XML snippit into you repositories.xml file, located in $HOME\.kettle or C:\Documents and Settings\Username\.kettle
Then define a new repository connection (give it a name and select the connection www.kettle.be.
You can use the guest login to see the examples.

Please do send those examples to me and I will put them in the repository. It will make Kettle easier to use for everyone!

Best regards,
Matt

I am new to Kettle and have been testing it out over the past few days. I was curious to look at samples and I noticed this post. I tried to connect to this repository but I am getting an error "I couldn't connect to this repository" "Please check settings ....".

Is anyone else using this ?

Hi Matt,
I follow the instructions and I got:

Error occured while trying to connect to the database

Error connecting to database: (using class org.gjt.mm.mysql.Driver)
Access denied for user 'kettle'@'200.106.209.217' (using password: YES)

It's the repository dissabled?

Thanks,

Benjamin Perdomo

Yes, it's gone. Nobody cared and there was virtually nothing in there anyway.
We'll find a better solution after my hollidays.
