Hi,

I added a Change Request - <a class="footnote" name="ref-CodeBeamer- 1644">[# 1644]</a> Supporting Large Objects (LOBs).

Thanx,
Jens

Hi,

Please try one of the latest development kettle.jar versions.
I believe reading CLOB fields is supported now.
There was a bug in the code that prevented reading the meta-data of large text fields correctly.

Thanks,
Matt

But your fix causes another problem as it seems...

I have a repository within an Oracle8i database and one in an Oracle9i database. The one within the 8i works fine, but when I save a transformation into the 9i database and I reload it after a restart of Spoon, all my transfer steps are empty, no SQL statements etc. Also the transformation doesn&#39;t run from within the 9i database.
