Attachment: pan.log (http://forums.pentaho.org/archived_att/kettle/pan.log) "ERROR: No file or transformation name specified when starting a spoon transformation" while using pan.sh on a linux system. I've attached the Debug level log trail to this message. The log shows that it does indeed find the repo, the transformation and steps/hops before bailing out.

The transformation runs from within spoon without error. Thanks for any help.

Yeah, it's a known bug: Tracker: Bug - [# 1671] Strange problem with Pan on Windows (http://www.javaforge.com/proj/tracker/itemDetails.do?task_id=1671&navigation=true)

For now, upgrade to the latest development version (http://www.javaforge.com/proj/doc/details.do?doc_id=3719). It's should be pretty stable by now. AND has all kinds of cool shiny new features!

I'm doing a patch to the 2.2.2 branch and this one will be backported as well. So you could also wait a few days.

Cheers,

Matt
