View Full Version : Disabling sub trees (portions) in spoon.

I've been working on large transformations with around 200 to 400 steps.

I decided to assemble it like a tree. However, when I want to test a certain part, for example branch A, I will disable other parts so that it will save time since I only want to execute branch A. Unfortunately, errors from other branches are also executed, I suspect that other all the steps are executed even when the path to the end point was disabled.

It will be really convenient when in using spoon, you can disable/enable certain portions of it to facilitate testing.

Thanks!

200+ steps, that's awesome. Would love to see a picture of it ;-)

Hey, we have a change request (http://www.javaforge.com/proj/tracker/itemDetails.do?task_id=1294&navigation=true) for handling disabled steps, I'll see what I can do to make this possible.
With that you would be able to select a bunch of steps and disable/enable them all at once.

All the best,

Matt
