I downloaded latest svn version of pentaho(trunk), built tomcat-mysql war, deployed it on tomcat and it's not working. But when build war from pentaho_j2ee_deployments-1.6.0-RC1.782(from sourceforge) it works fine. Setting are same for both versions.

Windows XP
MySQL 5.0
Ant 1.6.5
Tomcat 5.5
jdk 1.5.0_12

Can anyone tell me why this is happening.
Here is log:

I faced the same problem. I would think the problem is exactly what it says. That the particular jar is not in the classpath.

The root cause might be in the installation scripts or instructions; but you can solve the problem by adding the jaxen jar to the class path.

Go to run
Select classpath >>user entries >> add external jars
the jaxen jar is in pentaho\third-party\test-lib
