Hello Luis,

Thank you for your post and your interest.

We are currently working with product managment on this, as I type this response :). I do not believe there is a date in place for the out of the box portlets for Liferay yet, but I can assure you it is on the radar and receiving attention.

However, there are some portlets available in JBoss. For exampe the ViewAction portlet is a standard JSR168 compliant portlet and can be porter over to the Liferay environment just by following the standard portlet creation steps that are available in Liferay's documentation. This is usually a developer/IT/consulting step of course.

Keep in mind that this is something that is usually done by the indiviual organization that chooses to use Liferay. We recently have become partners with Liferay and are developing the relationship to it's fullist. Standby for many exciting and new things to come.

In the short term, there are also a number of simpler methods for integrating Pentaho content into Liferay. JSP and IFRAME portlets are also valuable options for shorterm deployment and to show what is possible. These Portlets are available already in Liferay.

Once completed and released this should work for all compliant portals.
