Dear everyone.

I'm trying to figure out the available features provided by Pentaho, but I can't find all the information I would like to.
Could you answer to a few questions for me?

- Which databases are supported?
- What is the release policy?
- Is there any way to submit any features? What about patches?
- Is there a way to set the refreshing rate on the data? If not what is its default value?
- How alarms are handled (threshold, etc)?
- Any possibility to publish pre-defined reports?
- Is there any backup management?
- Is there any expression engine?
- What about data adapters?

Hope these questions are clear, if nto, I'll try to explain more!

I know that's a lot of questions, but I'm kind of stuck with them, so any help would be much appreciated!

Thanks for your help!

I'll answer your first question:
Pentaho supports any DB you have JDBC driver for. All the components use that to make connections.

There is lots of information about your questions in the forum, wiki (http://wiki.pentaho.com/dashboard.action).. you can even find something using google :-)
