How to search database with 'Text Input Component'

Please how can I search data in database using Text Input Component and when i type i should get reference to what am searching for. How can i do this?

I want to be able to search a particular field data from textInput component, and as i type i want to see a drop-down of related infomation of what i typed. Is it clearer?
