    Default Manual install of biserver-ce with MySql

    I have followed the instructions here:

    https://help.pentaho.com/Documentation/6.1/0F0/0K0

    And the MySql instructions:

    https://help.pentaho.com/Documentati...F0/0K0/040/0B0

    My java version is :

    java version "1.7.0_80"
    Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.7.0_80-b15)
    Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 24.80-b11, mixed mode)

    My CATALINA_OPTS are set in tomcat/bin/startup.sh

    CATALINA_OPTS="-Dh2.bindAddress=localhost -Djava.awt.headless=true -Xms2048m -Xmx6144m -XX:MaxPermSize=256m -Dsun.rmi.dgc.client.gcInterval=3600000 -Dsun.rmi.dgc.server.gcInterval=3600000 -Dfile.encoding=utf8 -DDI_HOME=\"$DI_HOME\""

    The startup fails with the following-I'm a bit lost now, and not sure what to change, so any suggestions appreciated.

    I think it's missing the h2.jar file in the lib directory of tomcat

    Thank - that helped! I now have new problems, but at least I know now I can't just install Tomcat, follow the directions on the site and assume it will work.

    cheers,

    You're welcome!

    Yeah there's some (not to say a lot) undocumented stuffs out there, already made me crazy a lot of time!
    Next tip: you should add your jdbc drivers (mysql, oracle or such) in the lib folder too (if you want to use jndi)
