    Default error invalid identifier.

    Hi everyone.

I'm trying to import a .txt file into my oracle database, but i'm having problems.

well, my .txt file have lots of columns separated by ; and my table have less columns. ok until here.
i use the mapping feature to link the .txt file columns with the oracle table columns.
of course that some columns from .txt file will not be selected, but the problem is:
when i run the transformation, i got the error "column20" is an invalid identifier. but i wont use this column. i didnt select it to make the input.
i tried to delete from txt input list of columns, and then the same error occurred with the other not used column.

how can i make this import whitout these errors?

    thansk a lot.

Or ... specify the correct fields mapping in the Table Output step.

..and tick the "Specify database fields" checkbox on your table output step. This one is a little bit confusing for newbies..
