Default Problem by connection with Remedy: driver not capable

    Hi,

I am using Kettle 4.3.0-stable, build date: 2012-04-24. Last week I am trying to connect to remedy, in the "Database Connection" if I click TEST, I got OK.

But in the "Table input" I click of preview, I got the following:

    Unexpected error
    org.pentaho.di.core.exception.KettleDatabaseException:
    An error occurred executing SQL:
    select *from "TB-Auszeit"
<AR System ODBC Driver] Driver not capable

The same query via QTODBC-Tool works.

    Does anyone any idea?

    Thanks a lot!

Isn't there a space missing in the SQL?

no, there is no space missing in the original query.

Connection Type I use: Remedy Action Request System, Access: ODBC, Feature list: 47 rows , may I need more features?

Remedy is a troublesome ODBC Service.
    It doesn't support resultsets correctly.
It only supports read-only connections, and upon connect will give other errors.

I haven't tried with PDI 4.3 - only with older versions, but I was never able to get PDI talking correctly with Remedy itself. I gave up and went directly to the underlying DB.
