Default How to Split a Field with CRFL

I have a text field where I want to split the text based on the location of the carriage return and line feed in the text. The text field may have up to 4 or 5 entries in the same field. The distinguishing character is that it is separated by a carriage return and line feed. I know that I can split the text using a JavaScript step using the .split command however I cannot identify the correct character to split on.

How do I split a string based on the carriage return?

    Many thanks
    Ray

You don't have to use JavaScript to split your multiline text field, do you?

For guys who are just lasy like me and don't want to waste time to download a file.
Just use the ${line.separator} variable in a split field to lines step.
