    Default Row Grouping in Report Designer

    Hi all,

    Please kindly advise can the following rows grouping arrangement can be done in Report Designer. If yes, please tell me how. Thank you.

    ------- ----------------------------------
    Group1 Total=(Group 1.1 + Group 1.2 + Group 1.3) OR (Details 1.1 + Details 1.2 + Details 1.3)
    Sub-Group1.1
    Sub-Group1.2
    Sub-Group1.3
    Detail1.1
    Detail1.2
    Detail1.3

    Group2 Total=(Group 2.1 + Group 2.2 + Group 2.3) OR (Details 2.1 + Details 2.2 + Details 2.3)

    Well, you can use a style-expression on the visible-style to hide what you dont want to see. So build a report that contains all the headers and detail bands, and then hide them as needed.

    Hi Taqua,

    I saw that example in the steel-wheels, however by doing that I'd need to hard coded the Group name or Sub-group name in order to hide or un-hide the band. Please correct me if I understand it wrongly. Thank you.
