Default How to filter records in schema workbench?

    Hi there,

I wonder if it is possible to have the cube filter records (by certain fields) already at design time i.e. in schema workbench when I define my cube? I know it is possible to do it via MDX when running the cube in user console, but I would need to place certain fixed filters earlier, to make the work easier for the users? Thanks for your help.

Hmm, did I ask too dumb question Is this shomething you can't do at the level of desiging the cube, should I restructure the tables in my DWH instead and correct the ETL process, so that there would be no need for additional filters? Thanks again.

Or use a view for the data in your dimension and filter with a sql statement in your cube

Thanks, but I'm not sure I understood this one. Do you mean, to create a view in my DWH with correct SQL statement and then base my cube in schema workbench on this view instead of real tables?
