    Default Create measures on Metadata Editor

    Hi,
    After having create the bussines view of my model and done all the relations between the tables, I have no clue of how can I define the mesures from the tables :S Could anyone help me?

    You wouldn't necessarily use measures with metadata. Measures and calculations are designed for the cubes ie. anything using analyzer or analysis. For metadata ie. reporting tools and dashboards you would use the metadata editor. The logic of metadata allows you to filter your fields by criteria such as is not null, counting, conditional statements and much more. It's much like SQL with the benefit of the GUI editor

    Once you hav your logic defined and published you can try out in something like dashboard designer. You won't need to configure anything specifice for this but you will be able to still view the format in analysis tools.

    Thanks for the explanation ^^ my comrade was asking me for that and I don't understand much about Pentaho...
