    Post Getting CDA Cache Size

    Hi,

I am trying to cache CDE queries so that performance can be improved for the dashboard. There are couple of questions whose answers i am looking for

    • Do CDA uses the Mondrian Cache or creates its own Cache
    • If CDA uses its own cache how can i use Mondrian cache
    • How can i know the memory occupied by the CDA cache
    • How can i know the memory occupied by single query in cache

    Thanks

cda cache is independent of mondrian cache, they act at a different level and both are extremely useful

To have a greater control over cache (mondrian and cda) I recommend CDC

Glad to have your reply Pedro,

The problem is both mondrian and cda cache uses jvm memory to cache the data so if i am using both i will run out of memory. Is there any work around so that CDA uses mondrian cache as default.

I also tried CDC but i am not able to configure it, i have raised ticket regarding this as well http://forums.pentaho.com/showthread...onfiguartation.

Can you guide me what benefit i will get using CDC. And how can i configure it.

    Thanks
